The company's success can be traced to the since its foundation in the year 1974, at which time the company began operations under the name of PT Aero Garuda Dairy Farm in cooperation with Dairy Farm, a catering company based in Hong Kong. Afterbriefly changed its name to PT Angkasa Citra SaranaCatering Serving, in 1991 the company was operating under the flag of the ACS (Aerowisata Catering Services).
ACS then diversify by providing industrial cateringservices in 2002, and the company began a pioneeringretail business F&B in 2008. With diverse successes that continue to be achieved, the companyincreasingly developing new divisions also contributedto the development of the company. In 2009, the management service laundry and in-flight logistics began operations under the Division named Garuda Support.
In unison with the continued rise in the company's business, in the year 2010 Aerowisata Group as the parent company launches a new corporate logo. The new Logo is intended to further strengthen the company's image following its subsidiaries. In the same year, the ACS has also changed its name to Aerofood ACS.
