In 1992, Mr. Andy Darmawan small family businesse stablished in Pasuruan, a small town in East Java, Indonesia. He decides to name PT Raindo Lestari Putra. He began running a business with a small production line 3. Over time, various types of fashion products has been produced, shirts, skirts, pants, jackets, trousers etc. Now, PT Raindo Lestari Putra has become one of the company's garment of a solid with 12 production line is backed with a cutting and finishing divisions.
The fashion industry in Indonesia are still flooded with imported products which are cheap (especially from China), which mutunya also not inferior to domestic products. Therefore many top executives the world today which gives top priority on the improvementand quality control of products, so that every area ofthe industry, including garment textiles/fashionindustry has no other option except to implement total quality management optimally to improve its productivity and competitiveness in the domestic market.
