History Of The Company
The Birth Of The Sosro Tehbotol
Family business started Sosrodjojo in 1940 in the town of Slawi, Central Java with manufactures and markets brand seduh tea "tea Bottle Cap".
In 1965, the Family business began to expand with Sosrodjojo penetrated into Jakarta by doing the strategies JEEP FLAVOR (product sampling) to some markets in Jakarta.
Originally, came to the markets by way of cooking and BREW tea directly in place. Once ready, the tea issteeping directly distributed to people who are in the market. But this way is less successful because the teahas brewed too hot and the process has become out rageously long that visitor in the market who want to taste it can't wait wait.

In 1969, along with the growing interest by the public Teh botol Sosro Jakarta, Teh botol Sosro then produced with more bulk but still homey on an industrial scaleand use a bottle with a general design/generic (imageFirst Bottles of 1969).
In 1972, the Logo changed its design and SosroTeh botol began to include Sosro Logo in the neck of the bottle (the bottle image Both in 1972).
In 1974, the Logo changed back Sosro Teh botol design and at the same time the bottle shape is being revamped Sosro Teh botol more unique & stand out –the bottle shape and the logo is still in use to this day– as well as its production has begun using high machine imported from Germany(image of the third Bottle of 1974).
Establishment Of Pt. Sinar Sosro
In order to serve the market better, Gen. Soegih Arto Sosrodjojo and his brothers decided to separateefforts teas ready-to-drink tea business in the packaging of Sosrodjojo family by setting up anew company. The new company is expected to be be more focus in serving the tea beverage market and developing ready-to-drink bottled in beling.
At current date July 17, 1974, Gen. Soegih Arto Sosrodjojo and his brothers officially registering the new company by the name of PT. Sinar Sosro, a company based in Sultan Agung Road km. 28, Medan Satria, Bekasi – which is also the location of the first factory Teh botol tea Factory is the Sosro ready to drink in the first in Indonesia and in the world.
