PT Salim IvomasPratama – Tbk (SIMP) was established under the name of PT Ivomas Pratama dated August 12, 1992 and started commercial activities in 1994. Corporate head quarters located at Sudirman Plaza, IndofoodTower, JL. Sudirman Kav. 76-78, Jakarta. Business group has plantations-plantations and factories in the provinces of Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Riau, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, and North Maluku.
The parent Company of the venture are PT Indofood Prosperous Successes Tbk (INDF) was established in Indonesia, and Indofood Agri Resources Ltd. (IndoAgri), Singapore, while the last effort of the parent Company is the First Pacific Company Limited (FP), Hong Kong.
Currently, the company has a subsidiary which is alsolisted on the Indonesia stock exchange (idx), among other things: the London Sumatra Plantation Company PT Indonesia Tbk (LSIP).
According to the company's articles of Association, the scope of the activities and entities the SIMP Sons is a manufacturer of vegetable oils and fats as well as derivative products are vertically integrated, with main activities include oil palm seed breeding, managing and maintaining the palm oil plantations, production and refining of crude palm oil ("MKS") and crude palmoil ("MK"), the management and maintenance of rubber plantations as well as the process of marketing and selling the final product related. Business group also manages and maintains integrated sugar cane plantations, cocoa, coconut and tea, as well as the processing, marketing and selling the results of the plantation.
On May 27, 2011, SIMP obtain effective from Bapepam-LK to perform initial public offering Shares to the public as much as the SIMP 3.163.260.000 with a nominal value of Rp200,-per share offer price shares with Rp 1,100 per share. Shares are listed on the Indonesia stock exchange (idx) on 09 June 2011.
