Jobs Vopak Terminal Jakarta Update August 30, 2015 Position: PROCUREMENT/PURCHASING ENGINEER Responsibilities: Received, recorded, and reported the incoming purchase requests in the log list procurement ensures that official requests prioritized in relation to the urgency of the request and the delivery times. Problems and analyse reports about purchasing department purchasing activity in the weekly and monthly or as needed; Identify and select vendors for procurement of ordered goods, spare parts and services to meet the criteria such as price, quantity, quality and delivery date and place orders. Sourcing new items and Vendors based on specifications provided by the user by researching the market vendors. Reviewing and analyzing all requests for new vendors and recommend their approval to the Procurement Manager if the vendor is financially and ethically sound and there is a valid reason to introduce new Vendors in line with new vendor approval procedures. Update the data vendors. Actively monitor the preferred vendors ensure orders are placed with the preferred vendor and under contracts negotiated.
